Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of blueprinttax.us (the “Site”), which is owned and operated by Blueprint Tax, LLC (“Blueprint Tax,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. No Tax Advice; No CPA-Client Relationship

The Site, including articles, service descriptions, emails, and responses from our website chat tool, provides general information only. It is not tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice, and it may not reflect current law or apply to your situation. Tax outcomes depend on your specific facts, and tax law changes frequently.

Using the Site, submitting a contact form, sending us an email, using the chat tool, or booking or attending a consultation does not create a CPA-client relationship. A client relationship begins only when you and Blueprint Tax have both signed an engagement letter. Until then, we have no duty to advise you, and you should not act or refrain from acting based on information from the Site without consulting a qualified professional about your circumstances.

2. Professional Services and Engagement Letters

All tax, accounting, and advisory services are provided under a separate written engagement letter, which sets out the scope of work, fees, responsibilities, and other terms. If these Terms conflict with your engagement letter, the engagement letter controls. These Terms apply only to your use of the Site.

Alex Radig is a Certified Public Accountant licensed by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy. You can verify CPA licenses on the Board’s website.

3. Website Chat Tool

The Site offers an automated chat tool that answers general questions. Responses are generated automatically, may be incomplete or inaccurate, and are not reviewed by a CPA before you receive them. Chat responses are general information under Section 1 and are not advice from Blueprint Tax. Do not rely on a chat response when making tax, financial, or legal decisions. Instead, book a consultation so we can review your situation.

Do not enter Social Security numbers, taxpayer identification numbers, bank or account numbers, tax returns, or other sensitive information into the chat tool.

4. Information You Send Us

Please do not send sensitive information, such as Social Security numbers, tax documents, or financial account numbers, through the Site’s contact form, the chat tool, the scheduling tool, or regular email. These channels are not intended for confidential documents. If you become a client, we will provide a secure method for sharing documents.

Information you send through the Site before an engagement is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use the content of your inquiries for marketing or publish it. Sending us information does not by itself obligate us to accept you as a client, and we may decline any engagement, including because of a conflict of interest.

5. Scheduling and Third-Party Services

The Site uses third-party services, such as Calendly for scheduling consultations and Google Maps for directions. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their availability, content, or practices. We may reschedule or decline any consultation at our discretion.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Use the Site in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair it;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or any related systems or networks;
  • Use automated means to scrape, copy, or collect content or data from the Site without our written permission;
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information, or impersonate another person; or
  • Use the chat tool or contact forms to send spam, malicious code, or abusive content.

7. Intellectual Property

The Site and its content, including text, articles, graphics, logos, and design, are owned by Blueprint Tax or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may view, download, or print individual pages for your personal, non-commercial use, provided you keep all copyright and other notices intact. You may share links to our articles. Otherwise, you may not copy, reproduce, republish, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written permission.

“Blueprint Tax” and our logo are our trademarks and may not be used without our permission.

8. Reviews and Testimonials

If you choose to submit a review or testimonial directly to us for publication, you grant Blueprint Tax a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it on the Site and in our marketing, with or without your name as you specify. You may ask us to remove it at any time. This license applies only to content you submit for that purpose. It does not apply to contact form messages, chat conversations, consultation details, or client information, which we keep confidential as described in our Privacy Policy and as required by professional standards. Reviews you post on third-party sites, such as Google or Yelp, are governed by those sites’ terms.

9. Links to Other Websites

The Site may link to third-party websites, such as our Google, Yelp, Nextdoor, and BBB listings, and to IRS, state, or other government resources. These links are for convenience only and do not mean we endorse those sites. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices, and you use them at your own risk.

10. Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that content is current.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blueprint Tax and its owners, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site, including reliance on any Site content or chat response. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Site will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100).

This section applies to your use of the Site only. Liability for professional services is governed by your engagement letter and applicable professional standards.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Blueprint Tax and its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

13. Termination

We may suspend or end your access to the Site, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or used the Site unlawfully or abusively. Sections 1, 7, 8, and 10 through 15 survive any termination.

14. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Midland County, Texas, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

15. General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Blueprint Tax regarding your use of the Site. Any engagement letter governs professional services as described in Section 2.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised Terms on this page and update the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
